Public

There is a much better way to dispose of your old medicines rather than throwing them into the landfill or down the drain. In most provinces of Canada, you can take outdated or unused medicines to your local pharmacy. With safe and effective programs in place, the public will be able to dispose of expired and used medicines at community pharmacies. To learn more on the program nearest you select the appropriate province under the heading "Collection" for more information.

Each province manages their Medications Return Program in a slightly different manner. Click here to view our Frequently Asked Questions.
